I’ve been working with wood in some form or fashion all my life. My journey began in the hills of Southern Mississippi working as an apprentice for my grandfather. My job was fairly easy during those times, just hold the lumber while he managed the hand saw. Hand Saw? Yes, when I began I started with appreciation of power tools.
Now my tools are quiet different. From moisture meters to electronic levels the home building business has changed dramatically. But, one thing has remained the same throughout the ages. Building science. Water still runs down hill and heat transfers from a hot surface to a cooler one.
To the home builder and contractor “Green Building” means understanding that all elements of the building are dependent on one another. All elements are connected. When one is off balance you can be fairly certain that it’s affecting the others.
We’ll talk about how keeping your home in balance can not only save your hard earned dollars but can help you live a more comfortable and healthier life and do it without busting your budget. Building Green is smart. Building Green is affordable.
Your children and grandchildren will thank you for caring…
